Gavin looked at him for a moment. "You know what? Nah." He spoke pretty calmly, shaking his head. What the hell was he saying? He wanted to go get girls. He wanted to get laid, perhaps with several different girls. He did, really. He let out a sigh and finally admitted to himself that he really didn't. He had tried to insist to himself that he wanted a girl, but he had failed. In fact, right now all he wanted was the very person he wouldn't even admit to himself that he found attractive. The roaring in his head was getting louder, and he knew he was digging himself deeper and deeper. "If your feeling better we could raid my cupboard for food though."

Will watched him, but then shrugged. Whatever floated his boat. That was another expression that he'd always found quite funny. But, due to the fact that he wasn't the least bit tipsy, he wasn't going to use it. He doubted it would be the best thing to say right at that moment. It would just make Gavin think he was weirder than he already indefinitely knew he was. The fact that he was gay probably made Gavin think he was the weirdest person he'd ever met. But, once again, Will hadn't chosen to like guys. He just did.
At the mention of food, Will looked around the room nervously. Through his entire life, he'd been and on again-off again anorexic, he even tried purging himself two years previous. But, he couldn't stand having stained teeth. So, he quit. And, really, he'd been better about eating in the last year. But often, food made him feel weak. If he ate it, he'd be a quitter. No, no, no. It wasn't true. He could eat without gaining a pound, but he still didn't eat. He wasn't quite sure what was wrong with him. But, he'd puked up the contents of his stomach the night before. Fine, he could afford to eat this one meal, but that would be all. His mind was having a slight argument with his head about whether he could eat or not. He sighed, and decided. he really would eat. He gave Gavin a somewhat forced smile. "OK, sounds good."

Gavin got to his feet and sort of smiled at him. It was true, he did find William to be an extremely weird person, but he didn't consider that to be a bad thing either. In fact, it was a very good thing. And it wasn't the gay part that he considered weird, it was just Will's silliness. He had to admit to himself, he liked him, and he liked him a lot. What could it really hurt to experiment a little? HE didn't really know what switch had been flipped in his mind, but suddenly he was feeling less and less panicked.
He noticed the somewhat forced look to William's smile at the mention of food and frowned slightly. His mind connected Will's gangly, skinny frame, his obvious discomfort at the idea of food, and the fact that he had gotten so drunk so easily. After all, alcohol had a higher effect on an empty stomach. Still, it was only a theory, and he wasn't just going to go assuming that his new friend was anorexic or the likes just because of a theory. "Okay. Well kitchen's just across from the living room." He said, motioning for Will to follow, then heading out into the hall.

The smile that Gavin gave him as he stood up was a good one, a real one. It made Will smile truthfully back at him. Real smiles were always so much better than fake ones. And fake ones were quite easy to decipher from the real ones. William was pretty sure that it had a lot to do with the eyes. The eyes showed emotions better than most things. And, Gavin's eyes had looked sincere when he'd smiled at him, so Will went back to being his happy self. Or at least, tried to. He was still a little disappointed at the fact that the only guy he'd really liked couldn't even be a little interested. It sucked, but Will was pretty good with getting over things. Normally.
But, now it wasn't just disappointment that was showing up in his emotions, it was also nervousness. I mean, it wasn't like Gavin would care that much if Will was anorexic, it wasn't his deal. But, Will still felt weird for keeping it from him. And, as long as he at least ate something, he wouldn't come to any conclusions. Why did he care so very much about what Gavin thought about him? He really wasn't sure. Will obliged and followed Gavin into the hall and downstairs into the kitchen that he hadn't noticed the night before, considering the fact that he was unconscious. He smiled as they entered the room. "It's so cute!" he said excitedly. Oh god, his extreme hyperness and gayness was mixing. That wasn't a good thing. He bit his lip, but a few giggles escaped anyway. It really was a very cute kitchen. He smiled happily at Gavin, before looking around the room once more.

Gavin's mouth twitched as he held back a smile at the way William reacted to his kitchen. "Yeah. It's uh... very cute." He said, obviously not seeing the same quality in the room that William had seen. Shaking his head and finally allowing the smile to escape, he walked over to the cabinet and opened it. "Toast maybe? Ooor eggs? I dunno, I mean, we have the basics breakfast wise. I ate but hey, one can never really eat too much. Unless like, you eat so much you explode. Then you ate too much." He paused to think about that, then shook his head again, this time at his own mind.
"Well, just pick whatever you want and I'll get it." Gavin suggested finally, to get off the subject of exploding over eaters. " He got out a strawberry pop tart for himself and stuck it in the toaster. He still didn't really understand what had caused him to calm down so much, but he wasn't going to count his blessings. He was just thankful he wasn't still so flustered.

Will pouted slightly when Gavin turned away to look at the cabinet. Obviously he couldn't see the charm that the kitchen like Will could. But, normally Will looked for most of the good things in life. It was easier to stay happy that way. Will now smirked at Gavin for his imagination, rather than the other way around. It was an interesting topic, one that he'd never really though about. Though, he doubted he'd eat enough to make himself explode. "Yeah, I don't think I'd like to explode. It would make your kitchen pretty disgusting looking," he shrugged, as if it were an everyday conversation to have with someone.
Will cringed at all the food. What had the least calories? Fruit! Fruit would keep him from getting hungrier for longer as well as tasting pretty good. He wasn't exactly sure where the fruit would be, if Gavin had any, so he figured it was best just to ask. "Do you possibly have..apples?" he asked, scanning the room once more. He realized that the tension between them had pretty much been lost, and Gavin definitely wasn't as fidgety or nervous as he had been before. Another sudden change. Will pondered what these could be about.

"Yep." He reached into a bowl on the counter and pulled out an apple, handing it to him, then grabbed his pop tart just as it popped out of the toaster. He tossed the very hot toaster pastry onto a napkin, then went and slumped onto a chair at the kitchen table. "Sit." He suggested, gesturing to the free chair at the same table. He smiled slightly at him, blew on his pop tart once, and took a bite out of it.
It was true, the tension that had filled the air before had all but disappeared, and he liked it that way. Normally he was a pretty care free person, and he supposed that despite the confusion going through his mind, his carefree nature had won out, allowing him to remain pretty calm despite the fact that his mind was still racing with thoughts. Those thoughts were now mostly of the idea that what happened happened, and he would deal with things when they needed to be dealt with, not way ahead of time.

Will thanked him, taking the apple from his hand. He was surprised he hadn't noticed them before. But, then again, he'd never been the most observant person. That was something he wished he could work on, but it was simply to hard. he watched as Gavin took the pop tart from the toaster and wrapped it in a napkin. He continued to watch him as he sat down in one of the chairs as the table. Will had kind of forgotten that he was standing up, so he laughed lightly at himself before pulling out the chair and sitting himself on it. He took his eyes from Gavin to look at the shiny red apple in his had. He turned it a few times in his hand, before smiling and setting it down on the table. "I'm having a Disney movie flash back. 'Cept you're not an ugly old hag," he said with a grin. "Oh, and I'm not Snow White," he added with a nod. A weird time to think about that now, but he was kind of trying to distract himself from eating it. Even though, he knew he needed to. He sighed and looked up at Gavin again. Dang, that boy was just too cute. Nothing ever seemed to work in his favor. He sighed again, before reaching out to spin the apple again. "Good Pop-Tart?" he asked suddenly, looking at Gavin with an interested smile.

"What are you talking about? Of course your snow white. And I'm obviously the old hag." Gavin chuckled and took another bite of pop tart, chewing thoughtfully, then swallowing. "Yeah, it is a pretty damn good pop tart. I mean, pop tarts are always pretty good but, ya know." He watched him spin the apple around for a time, once again thinking perhaps Will had a tendency to avoid eating, and once again dismissing it as a mere theory. "I would ask if your apple was good but considering your using it as more of a toy than food..." He said with a laugh. "I don't think you'll really be able to answer the question." He hoped his theory was just that: a theory. The fact was, he would worry if he found out it was true, even though he had just met William. No one wants even a new friend to have a disorder that can even be life threatening after all. Besides, he was beginning to think of him in ways a friend really wouldn't.

Will had always had a thing for Disney movies, even when he was young. He used to own most of them, but wasn't quite sure where they'd gone to. Probably lost or sold, or something else of that sort. He just knew that he didn't have them anymore. That thought saddened him a bit, but it would be weird if he started getting sentimental all of a sudden over lost childhood memories. Gah, there he went again; caring about what Gavin thought of him. With most people, really never cared. But, that wasn't true with Gavin. He really cared what he thought. So, that was the reason he looked down at the apple like he had forgotten it was there. "Oh," he said as though he'd just noticed it. He gave a small laugh before taking a quick bite. He held back a grimace as the tangy fruit slid down his throat. "Yeah, it's good," he nodded, a little too vigorously. "A very good apple." He hoped that would satisfy any curiosities Gavin was holding, even if he wasn't holding any. Will just didn't want him to even start getting any conclusions.

Gavin sort of laughed at the way Will reacted to the apple. Rather than seeing it for what it was, that he was covering up his disgust with an overdone show of excitement, he just thought that he really was that excited over the apple. "I guess it is a damn good apple, I mean, judging by your reaction to one bite." He joked with another slight laugh. Two more bites and he had finished his pop tart. He rolled up the napkin and tossed it into the trash can. "Pop tarts, always a great breakfast food." He yawned slightly, then frowned. "Is there anywhere around here to get just, a good cup of coffee or something? I'm craving caffeine."

Luckily, Gavin saw it as no more than him reacting greatly to the fruit. Maybe he just figured that he was quite the fruit enthusiast. That was much better for him to think than anything else. And, luckily, Gavin wasn't reading into it. Will breathed a small sigh of relief, but put it over as he was swallowing. He gave him another one of his infamous smirks, shaking his head. "Pop tarts are pretty good, but I doubt as good as this apple," he said, laughing lightly. Why not play it up? Will smiled as Gavin yawned, but realized that caffeine did sound particularly good at the moment. And, coffee didn't have many calories. He could do that. "Yeah, there's a Starbucks downtown, if that's good," he suggested. Mmm, Starbucks.

Gavin considered. The downside to starbucks, was of course the expense, and the fact that they had so many annoying terms. It was like Starbucks was it's own country with its own language. On the other hand, they were everywhere, and with a local coffee place, it was always risky whether the coffee would be good or not. At starbucks, the coffee was always starbucks coffee, no matter where it was. After a moment of this, he realized he was putting far too much thought into it, and that it had probably been about five minutes from the time William asked the question. "Yeah, starbucks sounds good." He said quickly, hoping Will hadn't noticed just how much thought Gavin had put into the pros and cons of starbucks.

After he'd suggested Starbucks, he'd noticed Gavin get suddenly quiet. What, was there something wrong with it? Oh, well, maybe the fact that Will had been going to the local one for the past two years would make for the fact that he knew what every drink there was. He knew most the people that worked there, and he simply liked the atmosphere of the place. It always smelled like coffee, and that was a scent Will had enjoyed for most of his life. Will twirled the slowly browning apple with one bit out of it on the table again as he watched Gavin's face turn thoughtful. He waited for a little while, but his face didn't change and he didn't say anything. Will wondered if maybe he had a serious problem with Starbucks, but didn't want to be mean and say anything too awful, and that was his train of though. William was about to ask him where his mind had gone to, when he answered. "OK, good! But... I'm not really sure where you live... considering my state last night. Are we anywhere near downtown?" he asked. He didn't know any of the neighborhoods in the town, so he couldn't be sure Gavin's house's location from downtown. And, he wasn't going to go into the whole 'Gavin being thoughtful for a very long time' thing. Maybe later, but not at the moment.

"Ummmm..." Gavin thought about it. He had been down town for a few minutes, when he was just walking around to try and get the lay of the land. He thought it was pretty close. "Yeah, I mean, downtown is within walking distance at least. Probably like ten, fifteen minutes walk... Although judging by my abilities with time, I could be off by ten minutes either way." He gave a sheepish grin and a shrug. "I know the direction of it though, and I know it isn't THAT far away at least. Can't be more than a twenty minute walk I should think. At most like twenty five." He wondered if William had found his sudden silence odd. He didn't SEEM like it, but one could never really be sure. At least he hadn't been thinking about something embarrassing.
