"you should definately give the Dolls a listen." Sid informed her. "David Johansen is a fucking awesome vocalist, and Johnny Thunders and Sylvain Sylvain are probably my favorite guitarists of all time." He was warming up to her a little, now that he knew a bit more about her and her musical tastes. "Yeah, the Clash and the Pistols are pretty damn good. I like the Clash way more, probably because they add sort of a reggae feel to the music. Probably because Paul used to play bass in a reggae band before he joined."

"I really should give them a listen, and I know! It gives it more of a edgy yet relaxing feeling when you listen to it, and its amazing how they make it all work! I mean, to use a popular song, like Rock The Casbah? I love the fucking tune to that song, it's amazing how they just come up with stuff, throw it in a song, and make it work!" she said, now rambling on herself.

"I like the sort of, almost like spoken word shit like off of Combat Rock. Know Your Rights? It's a great song. Fucking incredible lyrics and its almost like he's saying them rather than singing them, but he still puts a little melody into his speaking." Sid replyed, obviously in his element with this discussion. The Clash were, after all, his first musical love. "And even stuff of of London Calling. It's kind of more poppy, but it's still so melodic, and the lyrics never cease to amaze me. Jimmy Jazz? Rudy Can't Fail? And I'll always adore Lost in the Supermarket."

"Rudy Can't Fail and Lost In The Supermarket are amazing songs! I fucking love the melodys to both of them." she said, leaning against the railing on the dock. "Not to drive the convo away, but you seem to be much happier now." she said, msiling at him.

Sid gave a small shrug, and turned his stare on the wood of the boardwalk. "I dunno. Music's my element I guess. It'll generally always make me pretty happy." He murmured as he studied the weathered and somewhat splintered wood. "I mean, it always cheers me up." He shrugged again and leaned up against the railing, his eyes sliding shut once more. He wasn't tired or anything, physically at least. It was more that he was tired with the world. Resting his eyes at least cut out the visual aspect of the world around him.

"Oh, I see." she said, leaning against the railing about a foot away from him. "I can get why music is such a big deal in life, it's a place to escape for whatever reason, and theirs a song out there for nearly everything." she said, closing her eyes as a breeze blew past.
"I get how ya feel in that sort of way." she said, looking at him once the breeze had past. "It's not my whole life, but music plays a big part in my life as well." she added on, kicking a rock behind her foot, and listening to the tiny plop it made as it made contact with the ocean.
She looked at him again. "So, what made you come to the pier at this time of day?" she said, noting that really no one but her came her after 6:00 PM.

"The wish to be alone?" Sid said, before realizing that might seem kind of mean, saying that to the person he was talking to. "And just listen to my music. I dunno, I just wanted to get out of the house I guess." He gave a slight shrug. Why was he telling this girl all this? It was none of her buisiness, and she probably didn't care anyway. Still, he was sharing it with her. He decided now would probably be a good time to end the conversation, as he didn't like the fact that he was being so open. He looked away for a moment, then got up. "But I should probably get out of here now."

Kelly could understand why Sid might want to get out of the house, she didn't like being home much either.
She looked up at him when he mentioned leaving. "Oh, alrighty then." she said, a tad bit of dissapointment hinting in her voice. She was a bit upset honestly, the boy had kept her company and acctually knew about half the shit she was talking about.
"Well, it was nice meeting you Sid, I'll, see you around then?" she said, smiling through the semi-sadness.

Sid could sense the dissapointment in her voice and gave a slight sigh. Why couldn't he just be mean and leave her there? Why did he have to feel BAD about things? Giving a tiny groan, he spoke again. "...Or maybe I'll just go to Centre Mysteria... you wanna come?" He didn't really know why he was inviting her to the local arts and music center, other than perhaps he just felt bad leaving her. Normally it wouldn't have bothered him, but she liked a lot of his music, and he was a softie for people that liked the same music as him.

Kelly looked up at him, a confused look on her face.
"What the hell is that? I've never heard of it before." she said, getting up slowly.
She had only moved here about 5 months ago, but she still distanced herself away from lots of things, and this happened to be something she did not know about.
She brushed off her legs softly, little rocks clinging to her knees from the way she sat on the pier. She looked up at him again, still wondering what the fuck that place was.

"It's like, the local arts center, but its really just a place where they put on plays and let bands play." He explained with a shrug. "I have no idea what's playing tonight but chances are it might be pretty good. You never know." He had a tendency to not like a lot of recent bands, so it was always a risk to go there. It could be horrible or there was always the offchance it would be good. Tonight he wanted live music, so he was willing to take the risk.

"Oh, that's pretty sick." she said, smiling. "We should definatley go, even if it does suck, just... we'll have fun.". She looked back towards the ocean, and then looked back at Sid. "Definatley, we should go." Yes, she did feel the need to repeat herself.

"Sure you want to? You don't seem all that sure." He joked pleasantly, after she found it necessary to repeat herself so many times. He gave a slight laugh to show that he was only kidding and then grinned. "I mean, we don't have to go if you don't want to. We can just not go. And stuff." His grin turned to a slightly teasing smirk as he copied her by being annoyingly repetitive. Hey, even a grumpy ass like him could joke around sometimes.

"Hey... hey........shut up." she said, then laughed. She looked at him, and smiling semi-dorkishly. "Of course I want to go, I'd have nothing better to do, and it seems like if we're lucky it could be a good time." So, she started walking along the edge of the pier, being a long ways out, almost at the edge. She looked back at him, stopping momentarily. "Coming? I don't exactly know where it is.."

"Rightio." Sid agreed, not entirely sure why he had chosen to use that word. It was sort of stupid. Not that it mattered much. speeding up slightly, he caught up with her and then passed her, taking the lead. "It's um.... that way!" He said, pointing in a random direction, then laughing slightly. "...meaning I dont remember which way it is from here. I don't normally hang around here." He paused for a minute, looking around. "Okay, this time I got it." With that, he headed in the right direction.
