Well, this was the pier. It pretty much seemed to suck actually. There was nothing all that amazing about it, well that was above. Sure, there were a few people running around in their swim suits, none of them all that appealing looking. Actually Bradly found that he was really odd when it came to people that he found appealing, but it's not like that sort of a thing mattered at this point. Right now he still had to work on getting himself into this new place either that or his mom would end up making him clean toilets. Most of the time he really didn't mind, though it got a bit annoying when he ended up looking at the work he just did and saw streaks. After that he found that he had to go in and try to get rid of the streaks which usually ended up causing more and he could be in the bathroom for a few hours before he finally was satisfied with the work that he had done.
His fingers fingered over the lens cap of the camera that hung around his neck. There was something about this place he really didn't seem to like. It was too common. There were other people taking pictures around here so there couldn't be anything that was really all that amazing about it. Brad liked to look at things that most people hated and make art out of them so he turned on his heel and left the pier, well for now. He made his way across the beach moments later. The hand washed onto his brown flip flop covered feet. It was with a small sigh that he made his way towards the different columns of wood holding up the pier. Okay, so there was some metal in there too, it was all just kind of odd. There were a few random kids hanging around underneath the pier, but he really didn't want to talk to them they didnt' seem like they'd be very happy with a guy tapping his feet on something a million times just so he could be sure that it all felt right.
With a small sigh, he ran a hand through his dyed bright red hair and then moved the camera up to his eye. Squinting a little bit, he aimed his camera and took a picture of some random sort of thing that was on the ground. Actually, it looked like just some odd rocks of some sort or another. It was with a small sigh that he lowered the camera once more and put the lens cap on. This place was oh so drab. Pulling up his pants a little bit he started to walk under the pier a little bit more to try and figure out just what else to take pictures of. Bradly knew that his pictures weren't going to end up looking all that great, but he didn't really care. With a small smile moving over his face he walked over and leaned on one of the columns. His hand swept over his brow for a moment. His face kind of ended up scrunching up a little bit as he moved to do it again. The action was repeated about five times before he let his hand rest at his side again.
Summer was always so horrible. It was just too hot and it was just plain boring for the most part. Soon he was walking along once again his eyes at the ground. As he walked there was a barley audible muttering sound. What was he muttering? Numbers of course. He was counting each step that he took. It was something that he couldn't help but to do. For some reason or another he always found himself counting, that was probably one reason he was good when it came to music, he had a very keen ear for keeping a beat.
''Fourty-Five, Fourty-six," he said softly before stopping. He bit his lower lip before shaking his head and taking another step. "Fourty-seven." For some reason or another everything that he did had to be done in odd numbers. It was just how his body and mind seemed to work best for whatever reason. Odd numbers were always better to end on when counting. Search him why that was. He smiled looking around before lifting the camera up and kneeling down to take a picture of some seaweed that had washed up onto the sand.

Oh the weather it was something really funny. Quite different from how things were in Ohio. But, she didn't mind at all. In fact, that was a lie, right there. Sort of. See, she didn't really care that the weather was different, but she did miss Ohio. Terribly. If she could go back, she definetely would. So, what does getting in trouble really matter? I doesn't make that much of a difference if you were to ask her. In fact, there was something about causing a little bit of a mix up that gave her a thrill inside. It was just, well, something to do. When you were sitting at home in your bedroom, nothnig to do, well, that's what you did. You went out and made some fun for yourself. Even if it meant getting into trouble. And the girl, she didn't care about what anyone else thought of her. So, as long as she was having fun, everything was fine with her. In fact, it was always fun to go and cause a mix up by yourself, but when you brought other people along for the ride, well, that just mde things even more exciting. Especially if it was a boy.
It's kind of funny, actually. Sometimes you can completely forget that you're a girl. And sometimes you're just a little bit too aware of it. Well, whatever. So, this day here, the present moment, she found herself not having anything to do. The girl, that is. And when you've nothing to do, what exactly do you go out and do? Well, you go out and you find something to do. And if you can find someone to do something with, or someone to talk to, all the better! So, she'd slipped into a pair of red flats with a little bow on the top and headed out of the dorm. Dorms were pretty nice places, so she thought of them so far. It wasn't like living in the dorm was the most terrible thing in the entire world. In fact, her room mate was a pretty cool guy. And the girl, who's name I will soon reveal, was pretty amazed at the fact that they actually put boys and girls together in dorms!
Whenever Trinity had thought of dorms before, she'd sort of imagined something from Harry Potter. That seems really lame, but you couldn't blame her. She'd never actually known anyone that went to boarding school and all that jazz. So, she had no way of knowing. She'd always just thought that boys had their own part and girls had their own part and that there was a main room for them all. The last thing she'd expected was for them to look like a house. That much was for sure. But, it was really cozy. And upon entering the dorm, Trinity had liked it. But, she hadn't liked it enough to keep herself cooped up in there all day long. No, that would not sit well with her. She'd have to be outside for the most of the day. Because, when it is nice outside, you just can't pass up the chance to go outside! Besides, how else was she supposed to meet people if she never left the dorm? That's exactly the point. She wouldn't meet anyone else. It would just be her and her room mate and if he wasn't there, her and the empty space. Grah.
Alright, so she didn't exactly know the place all that well. But, she would be able to find her way around. After all, it couldn't be all that hard, could it? Hopefully not. Besides, even if she didn't know what she was going to do, she'd find something. Because, she didn't exactly have a certain place that she wanted to be at that moment. It was pretty much fair game. Trinity would know where she wanted to be once she saw it, though. That was for sure. Things would be really easy from then on. Wandering around town was fun anyways. As long as you watch your guard. But, it would be nice to fnid a really open place with a lot of people. You know, go boy scouting. Well, what was wrong with that? She was a teenage girl, after all! And we all know how teenage girls are. Oh, all too well.
So, Trinity was your typical teenage girl. And she really couldn't help that she loved boys! It wasn't her fault. Not at all. And there was nothing wrong with liking boys. They were pretty awesome, if you thought about it. Even though there was the occasional dick that you might find, a lot of them were pretty fun to be around. Loads of her friends used to be boys. There wasn't anything wrong with boys. They were pretty fucking gorgeous too. Well, for the most part. If they could dress themselves and weren't geeky, then she didn't object to them. But, anyways, let's find something to speak about that doesn't make her seem completely shallow. Trinity continued to wander around the town, looking at her surroundings. It was really pretty here, that was for sure. You couldn't deny it. Even if you tried. So, you probably shouldn't try!
Trinity was wearing an Iron Maiden tube top and a flared out black and red plaid skirt. It was one of her favorites. And, she thought she looked pretty good. Her said lay over her shoulders gently, and her eyes were lined in black eye shadow and eyeliner. She didn't look scary, she looked good, so stop arguing! And that was when she saw it. The pier. Well, it was nothing special. She would've liked something more... creative, a lot better, but hey. You have to work with what you've got, right? So that was exactly what she planned on doing! Trinity walked along the pier for a little bit, looking around. Then she saw a boy taking pictures. Hm. Photography was like a way of living. Of course, she wouldn't have thought to bring her camera with her. Not about town when she was exploring. Because, she'd want to find the perfect place first! Moving onto the sandy part of the pier, she walked over to the boy. "Why are you taking pictures of seaweed?" Trinity asked. It wasn't that she thought it was stupid, well, yeah she did. Because, there was always something creative you could do with a camera!

You know one of the only things that could be more annoying then a life of counting and general habit? People who found the need to ask why about somebody's art. It was pretty rude actually since art was one of those things that was hard to explain it was just a feeling inside of what you thought was beautiful, what you thought made a statement about something or another. Sure there were those people out there that didn't understand just whatever the whole idea about art was, but they'd just end up having to learn the hard way. It wasn't like it was Bradly's fault that he tended to be a little bit arrogant or sharp tongued when it came to his art. It was his way of expressing himself since he actually found he really wasn't so great when it came to actually speaking.
When a girl walked over and asked him why he was photographing seaweed, he couldn't help but to let out a small exasperated sigh. Slowly he lowered down the camera and put the lens on. Slowly he rose up and looked at the girl. "I'm taking pictures of seaweed, because I think that it's interesting," he said with a shrug. Well, that was the truth, wasn't it? Actually it was more then the truth if you thought about it. For he really did think that it was interesting and he loved just the look of it. It was part of nature and made up a huge amount of the ecosystem. Actually, there should be more in the world, it was really bad out our food chain was so out of balance.
He ran a hand through his red hair and looked at the girl smiling slightly so that she'd know that he really wasn't too mad, though it was still a pet peeve of his that she'd ended up fulfilling. He glanced around for a moment and turned to her again. "I'm Bradly, I'm new around here," he said with a small shrug. This was the point most people offered a hand, though Bradly didn't want to. If he did end up shaking hands with her there was always the chance that he'd have to do it a few more times until it felt right. Right now he didn't want to end up freaking out the first person that he'd met here that wasn't his odd neighbor who seemed obsessive over her flower beds and would complain whenever he'd play his guitar outside..

Well, that boy seemed like a right snot. She hadn't been trying to be rude when she'd asked the question. No, not at all! But, seriously. It was seaweed. Sure, some people could call it beautiful just because it was a big part of nature. But, well, it really wasn't all that beautiful. It just lay there limply in the sand and when it was at the bottom of the water, well, you could barely even see it! What was so beautiful about that? And it wasn't at all interesting. How could he say it was interesting?! Ew! It didn't do anything other than sway in the water and get itself all tangled around your feet. In fact, seaweed could be the end of the human race. So many children died because when they were swimming their feet got stuck in the seaweed and they ended up drowning because they were too far out and all that. It was quite sad, actually. And this boy said that seaweed was interesting? Well, maybe if you thought that the death of poor, innocent little children was interesting. Eugh. That was just a terrible thing to say!
It wasn't like she would be able to change the boy's mind on what he thought about seaweed. Because, these days, people tend to be really stubborn. And that isn't always a great thing, you know. In fact, it sort of drove Trinity mad. But, maybe that was because she herself was a little bit stubborn. When she believed something, she didn't back down. And she wasn't at all afraid to make enemies for speaking what was on her mind. It was better than keeping her mouth shut and leaving important things go unsaid! And, even if the boy was also stubborn, she would try and change his opinion about that if she ever got the chance. But, she didn't like him all that much so far. He seemed a little bit cocky to her. But, anyways, that wasn't really important, now was it? And she didn't know the boy at all, so, who knows what he was really like. Maybe he was worse than he seemed, though. Oh, what a ngihtmare that would be!
"And how, may I ask, is seaweed interesting?" Trinity said, looking at him. No, she hoenstly wanted to know. Because, she didn't understand why it was interesting. "I mean, why would you want to take pictures of seaweed when you can do something way more creative with a camera and use your imagination? Taking pictures of seaweed isn't going to get you anywhere." Well, she had rather strong opinions when it came to things like photography. So sue her. It wasn't her fault that she had her own thoughts about things. And the boy may as well learn that if he wanted to be into photography. Because no one ever really notices when you only take pictures of things like seaweed or something. And everything was always better when you had models or like, something that would catch the person looking at the photo's eye.
She stood there for a moment examining him a little bit more. Well, she didn't really care if he thought that she ws being rude for saying that, but it was true! Seriously! You can't honestly think that seaweed is interesting. Who would go onto the internet and look for pictures of seaweed? And who would pay you to take pictures of seaweed? Some geographical, planetary magazine, maybe. But, who other than brainbox scientists actually read those types of magazines?! If you want to take pictures, you may as well do something creative. Something that will make you stand out in a crowd. Because that's what's going to get you places. Not taking pictures of wildlife. And even if it is just a hobby and you don't plan on getting a career in that, at least make it interesting for yourself!
When he said his name, Trinity hadn't really been expecting it. And when he didn't put out his hand, she nearly fell back laughing. That was his introduction? Lame! Oh gosh, what kind of joke was this kid? Well, she may as well amuse herself. "Trinity," she said with a slight nod. "And you and half the campus are probably 'new around here'," she said with a roll of her eyes. Yeah, she was new there as well. But, well, who really puts that straight out into and introduction? She'd never, ever, heard an introduction like that. But, she didn't let on that she thought this was completely hilarious. No, because that would be rude. Trinity, rude? Please! Don't even put those two words into a sentence together, because they aren't meant for one another. Oh, actually, continue then. Because that's a lie.
