What was it about pacman that seemed to be so addictive? There were a million other games in this place with probably ten times better graphics, yet still, Stevey stood there with the joystick in her hand moving the little yellow ball around the screen. This game had to be one of the most addictive things of all time. Not only was it just such a challenge to escape the colored blobs, but it was a complete classic and there was no way in the world that you can be a classic no matter how many crazy extra things you added.
The sound of some kids stamping on the DDR machine was the only real background noise. Sure, there were some kids talking over to her left, but whatever, she wasn't paying attention to what it was that they were saying. To her right there was some boy playing a shooting game. That game had to be her least favorite. It was so stupid that they made a game out of the killing of animals. In all truth, Stevey wasn't really an in your face vegaterian, but she didn't just sit back and let thing happen to inoccent animals. When it came to hunting things, she understood that without that, the entire ecosystem as we know it would end up being thrown off, but she just hated how much meat humans ate and how some animals were treated.
Once she finished up the level she'd been on a small sigh moved past her lips. Grinning slightly, she leaned against the machine and sort of stretched her hand as she waited for the next level to load. She'd been playing for about ten minutes now and it was actually pretty amazing just how much of a toll it seemed to have taken on her. Grinning slightly, she turned back to the game and gripped the joystick once more. It was actually rather depressing since she ended up having just a few more of those little balls left before she got corned by the red and green blobs. Sighing a little bit, she shrugged and turned on her heel. There was no need to play anymore at the moment though she'd probably be back after she explored what other games were around in the area.
Arcades really were great places to hang out. There was such an assortment of people around. After smoothing out the front of her forest green t-shirt Stevey made her way towards an interesting looking game. After she sort of figured out what to do, she put a coin in and started to play. It seemed as though you were supposed to just fling the coin at the right point and if you succeeded then you could get more coins, but you also lost coins on the deal most of the time. She wasn't thrilled by this game, but hey, she had the coins and wasn't sure what else to play and since her hand had cramped pacman was out of hte question for this point. With a small smile, she pulled the trigger and sent the coin flying onto the others. actually, she ended up getting a few coins to fall.

Kyle sauntered into the arcade, a cocky grin on his face, his hands shoved into the pockets of his dark purple skinny jeans. He grinned and withdrew his wallet, eyeing it for ones and any change. He sighed and withdrew a single bill. This wasa enough for five tokens. It might be just enough. He would just play the game where you earned even more tokens. It was his specialty. Okay, he really sucked at it. But he liked to think he was a god. He grinned and pocketed his wallet, holding the four gold coins in this palm. He shook his head, moving his hair out of his eyes.
Scanning the brightly flashing room, he spotted the coin machine and headed towards it. A brightly dyed girl was currently playing. He sauntered up to her and leaned against the machine next to her. "I see you're pretty good, care to teach me how? Im afraid im horrible at this thing" He flashed a smile, stretching two lips piercings around his lips. And blinked a couple times, the flashing really was a little overbearing.

Of course Stevey found herself a little bit surprised as she pulled out the coins that she'd just ended up winning. Grinning slightly she put them in her pocket and thought about playing again just in case she'd end up getting more. Of course at this point, she was pretty much just even with what she'd started with. As she held a coin in her hand thinking, she heard another voice soon nearby. Her eyes swept over the area for a moment and soon she discovered who it was that had said the words to her. It was with a small smile that she waved to him. "hello there," she said trying to figure out what in the world he was even talking about. Yes, Stevie often did find herself doing things like that and forgetting what she'd been doing about a moment before.
"Oh!" she said figuring it out. The main problem was probably that he'd said she was good at the game when she really had no idea what she was doing. It was with a little bit of a shrug that she looked at the machine. "I guess that I could try to help," she said with a small sigh. "But I really have no idea what I'm doing, I think I got lucky," she said with a little bit of a laugh as she looked around for a moment. "I'm Stevey," she said putting a hand out to the male who she was now speaking to.
