The last place you would really expect someone to spend their afternoon in was a library. But, well, this was no ordinary boy, to be honest. In a world where reading was fun and fairy tale endings actually did happen, then yes, he would be an ordinary boy. But, well, you see. This wasn't the world that we lived in. And it was just the way that things were going to have to be. Because, it was pretty hard to tear this boy away from a book once he picked it up. Really, he didn't have anyone but himself to blame for his fascination when it came to books. Well, you could always blame his mother. She was the one that had taken him traveling and she had given him his first ever book. And he loved all kinds of books. Because, there were many, many different kinds of books. Here, we'll see what we have and then you can tell me whether or not he's an ordinary boy.
Firstly, you have classics, like Little Women or Pollyanna. Maybe even Tom Sawyer and Mobey Dick. Then you have your teen romances, which bring you from Pretty Things to Stoner & Spaz. Then you'll have your books that are based off of television series', like the Degrassi paper backs. Then there's the fictional stuff like The Land of Elyon series by Patrick Carmen. Which, if Sadie could say so himself, were pretty amazing books. The list of things can go on and on. You have geographical stuff, manga, worldly and many, many other things. But, he loved magazines. And anything to do with fashion, really. Maybe it was just because yeah, he did end up going with his mum a lot of the time. And that was what he'd been surrounded by his entire life; fashion. There was so much more to it than just the clothes. There was a bunch of hard work that went into it. The designing, the stitching process, the sewing, hemlines, fabric choices, colours. It was an amazing world and Sadie completely loved it!
The boy walked along the book shelves, trying to "pick his poison", so to say. He was actually in the mood for a nice romance novel. And well, for a boy to be into a romance novel?! That was just strangely unnatural! But, hey, you can't blame the kid. Romance novels contained so much more. They could be funny, sad, and a bunch of other things rolled into one! And if they weren't predictable or confusing, but they had a lot of suspense in them, well, then that might be something that Sadie would read. Because, that was the type of person he was. He loved reading those types of books. They were just, well, impossible to put down! It wasn't like they had to be really graphic or anything. But, you know what I mean, right? And, in the creating of a book, the author plays a really big role in it. So, if there's an author you like a lot, it's best to look for other books that they wrote. Because, chances are, you'll probably like their books. And if not, you can always just look under the same publishers. Because, a lot of the time, there are a bunch of different authors who write in similar ways and have similar ideas for books. Yet, at the same time, they're not identical. No, they plot things our in different ways, they have different writing styles. Some might write in first person, and some might write in third. It's just an amazing world, books.

The boy was new in town. Brand spanking new, right off the plane. Only yesterday had he been assigned a dorm and unpacked. All his stuff organized and put away. That wouldn't last long. It would be messy and disorganized within a week. Kyle was kind of a slob, unless he got a roommate that made him clean. Which didn't look likely at this moment. Okay, okay, Kyle is a big tough guy. That's what he tells himself in the mirror every morning. He has a secret, he reads foroking where he was going. He hit a non-moving object which just happened to be a person. fun. OMG. LyKe ThAts So WeIrd!>!<!. etigeo.
The brown eyed beauty hauled the door open, inhaling slightly. You know the book smell? That's the best smell in the world. Seriously. He gave a crooked grin and walked in, worn Vans padding on the floor. He smiled again, and patted down his hair, smoothing it with his thumb and forefinger. He patrolled the rows, staking out the perfect genre. Shall it be Sci-Fi? No, not in the right mood. Non-fiction. Okay. No one should read non fiction in their free time, there were limits.
He smiled and turned down the romance isle. Romance was perfect, what was better than hearing about other peoples relationships. There is defiantly to be learned here. He grinned and started scanning the rows, looking for the perfect one. He grinned and looked up, not looking where he was going. He hit a non-moving object which just happened to be a person. He made a weird face and grabbed the boys shoulders to keep from falling. "ahhh, sorry man. didn't see you there." He decided he should probably be nice to the kid he almost knocked over. He made a grimace and looked down sheepishly.
