Jam was jamming out. To what sounded more like screeching boys and not tuned guitars, but was actually a band he used to be in as the bassist, but it never really worked out, him being too worried about his looks to worry about the music. After him dancing around the room for twenty minutes, you'd finally be able to put together what he was wearing what looked like a pair of girls jeans that were clinging to his thin, straight legs, over it a frilly skirt that was way too short to be something casual, and nothing else besides a nurse's cap on head and a maid collar around the neck. He had found his horde of costumes, which included many many things you would rarely have a desire to see on him, or any other man. Makeup was little, and mouth was turned down in a pout as he flipped through a notebook he had ran into while cleaning the disaster area that was his chunk of the dorm room. Tongue would then stick out as he opened the Snickers bar he'd just bought on a quick run out of the place, and took a bite, getting chocolate all over those lips. Grinning to himself as he let out a self-satisfied moan, Grant would then stand and plod over to the door to the dorm, opening it up because he hated closed doors. Which wasn't something shown often, but was known if you knew him. "I want a rabbit.." he'd ponder out loud to himself, then drop onto the floor, spreading out on it and letting out a sigh. Boredom. It ate the poor things soul. But then again, he really didn't have too much left.

Running out of the dorms just so you won't be late to catch a bus so that you can make it to play practise during the summer holidays wouldn't be very fun for most people. Especially considering it was early in the morning when the girl had to rush out of the dorm. But, she wasn't like most people, as she didn't exactly sleep in. So, she'd gotten up, pulled on a long purple and black striped tee shirt and a pair of leggings and a small black, flared skirt and run off out the door. Her keys were in her small Hello Kitty bag which had been draped over her shoulders as she ran out of the building.
After a few hours of being out of the dorms, the girl had gotten back onto a bus and made her way back to the dorms. It was all in good fun, really. Madi, that being the girl, loved acting. It was one of her passions. Moving her long blonde locks from her eyes, she made her way to her dorm, going up the stairs. Sure, there were elevators, but who really wanted to ride in a stuffy elevator with a bunch of sweaty people?! When she got to the dorm, she noticed that she didn't exactly need her keys. As the door to the dorm was open. Oh, well, this was different. Usually you don't find your dorm door open when you've left. And you don't expect to find your room mate lying sprawled out on the floor either. Which just made it a little bit more awkward. And did he just say he'd wanted a rabbit?
"I don't think getting a rabbit would be a very smart idea," Madi stated, walking around him. It was a good thing she'd noticed him, because had she not, she would have most likely tripped on him. And that wouldn't be that much fun, now would it? Really, he shouldn't just lie there. And what in hell's bells' name was he wearing?! It was a little bit frightening. Sure, she herself dressed up oddly sometimes, for plays and such, but really, this was just a little bit odd. There were certain things you never want to see, and things you just never think you would see. And this was one of those things she would really prefer not to have seen. Why was her room mate such a weirdo?

Grant blinked and raised on brow at her, shrugging. "But you know you'd like ittt." he'd croon back, grinning before rolling onto his side to stare at her. "Where were you?" he was nosy, he couldn't help it. She was too pretty to be out and about alone, specially with the way he had figured she acted when in public. He wouldn't really know, though, being as he had locked himself in the dorms the whole time he's been here, not wanting to run into Dan and have his face punched in from the hippie freak. But he'd ask anyways, Snickers getting another bite taken from. Yum. "Soo..." Grant would drag out, lips puckering to one side as he just spaced off, tongue cleaning teeth, which was easily noticeable even with mouth closed. Hand scratched at hair behind ear, before foot was lifted to poke the off button to his stereo. Ahh. Peace. Well, to everyone else that was in a 50 yard radius, that is. He liked things loud.

She looked down at the boy and shook her head, heading to the kitchen to grab herself a water bottle from the fridge. "I like rabbits, but trust me, I wouldn't really want to live with one," Madi stated. It was just that rabbits were messy. As were other animals. But, honestly. They pooped all over the place and she didn't want to risk stepping in it or worse, having to clean up after it. No, that wouldn't be all that fun. Besides, it was a lot of work taking care of an animal. And she was afraid that Grant would use it more so as a toy than as a pet; a living, breathing creature.
Madi sat down on the couch, opening the top of the water bottle. It really made her feel bad, actually. She could open up a water bottle whenever she wanted, drink water from the tap whenever she wanted. And then there were some kids in places like Africa that didn't have access to tap water. And there she was, drinking bottled water. It was like, well, why have tap water when i can just drink this? It was pretty sad. But, you can't really do anything about it. People drink bottled water. And maybe Africa would be a better country if their government would all join together and try and make it a good place to live! Sure, we can all do everything we can to fix the entire clean water problems, but really. We give them all that money and still it's not a good place to live? It makes you wonder what they're spending that money on.
"I was actually at a drama class," she said, taking a drink of the water. "Not that it's really any of your business." Yeah, she'd been stuck with a pretty odd room mate. It wasn't that she didn't like him. That wasn't the case at all. It was just that he sort of frightened her. Okay, maybe "sort of" was an understatement. But, you get what I'm trying to say, right? But, people would grow on you after a while of knowing them, right? So, maybe, just maybe, that would be the case with this kid. You never really know. They could end up being really great friends in the end. But, anyways. "What are you wearing, exactly? And why?" Madi asked, looking down at him before drinking some more of the water and twisting the cap back on.

Grant pouted then shrugged, sitting up. "Drama class? Fun. I bet you're a star." he'd reply with a smirk, then stand and dig around for a t-shirt, pulling it on and replying to Madi's question with a grin. "Just my old costumes. I wanted to be a model when I was younger, and pictures of me in costumes was my specialty. That, and I think I look pretty good in them." Grant yawned after that, sitting back down on the floor, pulling a coloring book closer to him that he had thrown on the said floor earlier, crayons being dug out from under his bed. Sprawling out, he'd begin coloring, murmuring the names of everything he colored in spanish. Seemed the coloring book was made to teach kids spanish while entertaining them. "How was Drama Class, by the way?"
