There was something that seemed to be so amazing about how fast skateboarders were able to go down the street. The different tricks they were table to do were always enough to boggle the most sensible of minds. Each boarder seemed to move with such grace and speed. Just when you thought they'd end up getting caught on a rock or something like that, they'd end up still going. It was one of the most interesting of ways to get around. Who in the world didn't want to be a skateboarder? Well, Emotion was one of the many people that wished he'd had his choice. With a small smile and a rather pathetic tone he called up Mitchell. He pretty much begged the guy to join him at the skate park to try to figure out the whole skateboarding thing and possibly get some really cool bruises. Okay, so he left out the bruise part, but there was no doubt that they would probably end up having a few.
He'd arrived rather quickly to the skate park with two skateboards that he'd borrowed from a friend of his. They weren't anything special, but they would work and that was all that was going to matter. So, it was with a small smile that he put the boards down and a small backpack of his own. It was with a little bit of a laugh that he started to get on it before pouting when it didn't already start forwards. With a shake of his head he ran a hand through his hair and then got off of it for a short moment before looking at it a little bit differently and pouting. "Stupid board," he said kicking it and watching it go forwards.
Shaking his head a bit he followed after it. His eyes moved over the area for a short moment and saw that there were some people looking over at him with slightly raised eyebrow. It was with a small sigh that he scratched his head and tried once more. This time he started to propel himself ahead of where it was he had started. This time he seemed to be doing okay. With a small cheer of glee he bounced from the board though almost ended up falling off of the bored when he pushed himself off. "Mitch? Where are you at?" he asked pouting a little bit as he turned around trying to figure out where the boy was at.

So, the boy wasn't really a huge skateboarding fan. In fact, he'd never really thought about picking up a skateboard before that day. It wasn't the he easily caved in to peer pressure or anything. But, well, he wasn't just going to let Emotion go off on his own. And he didn't really have anything else to do on that day. Sure, it was fun to hear his friend begging and such, but you can only let a person go on like that for so long before it becomes really old, y'know? Okay, good. With a sigh, he'd told the other male that he would meet him there. It was a simple enough task, just showing up at the skate park. I mean, if you found that hard to do, well, you must be a little bit crazy, right? Perhaps. Mitchel didn't really know. But, maybe. I mean, who would want to stay home and just sit around when they could go out and do something productive with one of their best friends? Okay, well, their bestest friend. It sounds good enough to me.
Grabbing his shoes from a rack in the basement, Mitchel had slipped them onto his feet and left the house. He'd told his mother first, of course. Because, who in their right mind lets a fifteen year old boy just wander around without telling someone? His mother was not that type of person. She liked to know where he was. And to be honest, he didn't really mind telling her. Because, it was nice to have a mother that cares if you're going to come home after midnight or something. Know what I'm saying? So, Mitchel headed towards the skate park. He'd never actually been there. But, well, it couldn't be all that bad, right? That was just what he was hoping. But, whatever.
It didn't take the boy too long to get to where he wanted to be. In fact, it was only about ten minutes to get there. He entered the park, looking around a bit. Now if he were Emotion, where would he be? Mitchel looked around a little bit more until he spotted the other male. "Aha!" Mitchel grinned to himself. The boy was facing in the other direction, so he could probably sneak up on him. We'll see though. Mitchel made his way over to the boy, tapping the other on the shoulder. "Moo!" Mitchel grinned. OKay, well, one must admit, that was a rather odd greeting, but hey. It's fun to do odd things! Mnaha.

Emotion had tried to go a few times, though it really didn't end up working all that well. Once he had finally figured out how he was supposed to turn, he tried to do it himself. It really didn't end up working very well in the end. Oh well, that's just what happened when a kid that really didn't know what was going on in the world tried to teach himself how to do something new.
It was with the sudden uttering of the word Moo, that he finally stopped. He raised an eyebrow a little bit trying to figure out who in the world was going to be behind him. Slowly he turned around a little bit and then watched Mitchell for a short moment and raised an eyebrow at the boy as though he was the strangest person around. After a moment a large smiled curved over his lips and he threw his arms up and around the other male. "mmm," he said grinning a little bit as he watched him. "You're an odd kid," he said as he let go of him and shook his head a little bit. "I thought that only cows said moo and you are far from being a cow," he said poking him once in the stomach before pointing to the second board he'd brought with him. "That's for you!" he purred before looking at the one he was on. "You missed a lot of interesting umm, falls," he finally figured the word and laughed.

Mitchel grinned at the other male. That wasn't so much what he'd been expecting, but well, it was kind of funny. "Yeah, but that's what you love about me!" Mitchel grinned. There was never nothing wrong with being odd. No, not at all. It made things a lot more interesting if yuo were going to ask my opinion. And even if yuo don't want to ask my opinion, which would be rather stupid of you I'm going to tell you it anyways. So, yeah. Being odd is a wonderful thing. And if you aren't odd, then you're just normal. And normal is like being like everyone else in the world. Which means that you aren't all that unique. And to be honest, we all know quite well that it's no fun at all to be normal! Oh heck yes it's not fun at all!
He pouted a little bit when the other told him that he was far from being a cow. "Liar!" Mitchel said. "I'm fat, see," he took the others hand and made him poke him in the stomach. "See, do you feel all that fat there?" Okay, well, he wasn't fat. At all, really. He wasn't extremely thin, like, scary thin, but he wasn't anywhere near being as fat as a cow. And he didn't have spots or anything. But, he should SO be allowed to pretend! Because, if he pretends, then he's using his imagination. And the more he uses his imagination, the less of it he loses. And it's a part of being young, really. You get to pretend and such. So, yeah. You get it. I hope... If you don't... I feel bad for you.
"Thank you," Mitchel said, skipping towards the board and looking at it before leaning down and picking it up. He then turned around and smiled at his best friend. "That's great. Did it hurt?" He raised and eyebrow, smirking a little bit. He would probably laugh at the other if he said that it did hurt. So like, who knows, really. That wouldn't be too nice, really. But, they were best friends, so he'd understand. "Okay, okay. So, how exactly do I work this thing?" Mitchel raised an eyebrow. Well, I told you he'd never really had anything to do with skateboarding in his life! It's not like many circus folk use skateboards, either.

Emotion watched his friend and smiled slightly. He always enjoyed the other's randomness. His finger lightly poked him in the stomach and he nodded a little bit. "Oh you're right, you're huge," he said in a rather sarcastic tone before shaking his head. "I guess that if you want to be a cow we can go and get you a fat suit once we're done here," he said with a small shrug. "Or we can just get a lot of pillows and attach them to you. You'd be able to run into walls that way!" he said before letting out a short gasp and smiling widely. "OH! I'm so excited now," he said clapping his hands together a few times as though he was some sort of weird kid that just liked to clap at times, oh wait, he was.
Slowly his eyes moved from Mitchel, to the board, to the board that he was next to. "umm, well, they hurt at first, but not now, I'm better now," he said with a nod as he looked around for a moment. "But as for using it," he said with a laugh. "I don't really know too much," he said with a small laugh. "I just watched them," he said motioning to all the people that were off doing the crazy tricks and looking like they could fall and break a bone at any given moment. Smiling widely he stepped onto the board. "But so far, I figured out that you go forwards like this." With that he started to propel himself forwards using his left foot with his right foot at the front. Once he'd gotten some speed he put the left foot on the board behind the right. When he started to slow down he put the left foot down again and started to push himself forwards once more.
He did what he thought had to be done to turn and ended up loosing his balance. Laughing rather wildly, he stood up and picked up the board before looking at Mitch and smiling widely. He walked back towards him and nodded. "Ya, that's about as good as I can be right now," he said with a shrug. "But you just push yourself forwards with one foot, then put it on the board. Then when you start to get slow once more you have to put the foot down and push forwards once more," he explained proudly. Of course Emotion spoke in a proud tone. He was so proud of how he'd figured things out with skateboarding. Emotion usually didn't find himself ever able to figure things out all that easily so ya, this was a very proud moment for him.

The boy raised an eyebrow at that idea. "Hm. Well, that might be... interesting." He bit his lip in thought. Yeah, that might be fun. Running into walls was always such a fun thing to do. If you were the type of person that enjoyed running into things. "Well, yeah. Pillows would work really well! But," Mitchel paused, laughing a bit. "We'd have to paint black spots on the pillows. Unless you can get pillow cases that have cow print on them. That would be really cool! Or! We can buy an inflatable cow suit. You know... 'Cause Halloween is coming soon and some people enjoy dressing up as cows." He grinned. Yeah, that seemed like a pretty good idea to him. If he did say so himself.
"Well, that's stupid," Mitchel said with a bit of a sigh. He then grinned. "Okay, well, you're less clueless than I am, so yeah." He nodded his head just a little bit. There wasn't really anything wrong with being clueless. In fact, it was sometimes a good thing. But like, whatever. It didn't matter to him all that much. He watched as the other male started to move himself on the board. Okay, well, that didn't look too hard. Mitchel figure that the hardest part to it all was probably being able to properly keep your balance on the board. So, he'd just have to see. "Alright," Mitchel said, still watching the other. He'd be able to do that... hopefully. Well, Mitchel thought he'd be able to do that. Though, he wasn't the most coordinated person in the world. So, chances were that, yes, he would probably fall off. But, he'd laugh. Because, Mitchel falling is funny. So, laugh. Now. No, kidding. Ahaha.
When the other came back, Mitchel had a raised eyebrow and an unamused look on his face. "Oh my gosh. My best friend is a freak," he sighed. "a freak with a maniacal laugh." He shook his head a little bit. "It's alright though. I accept you for your freaky laughted and all." Of course, Mitchel was just kidding around with him. In fact, he could probably be just as much of a freak, if not more, at times. "Okay, so, I'm going to try now," Mitchel said with a nod. The board was on the ground in front of him. So, he put one foot on the board, and pushed a little bit with the other. The thing he didn't want to happen was fall off. You know what? He should have made a pillow fortress in the basement instead of skateboarding. That would be much safer, eh? I think so.
