It was a pretty nice day out, though it was like that most of the time. Come to think of it, it really had yet to be a horrible day here. Sure it had rained once or twice, but there was nothing wrong with rain, nothing at all. Actually, rain was an amazing thing that you just had to love and embrace. Without rain, the earth would dry up and then we'd all starve or die of thirst and that didn't sound fun. No, dieing really wasn't a fun thing at all, well at least not that Emotion could think. In all truth, he really wouldn't know if dieing was fun or not since he'd never actually experienced it, but he didn't plan on finding out anytime soon. Nope, he planned on living a full life full of frolicking and fun. Yes, frolicking, there was nothing wrong with a boy doing that type of a thing. Actually, it was perfectly normal for Emotion to do things like that since he was a bit of a girly boy anyway. Okay, so he was a little bit more then a bit girly, but who asked you anyways?
It had been about an hour ago that Emotion had called up probably his best friend here, Mitchel and told him to meet him down by the creek. No, he didn't ask him to meet him, he told him to. They'd known each other for a while now and there was no point in asking each other things anymore. They probably knew what the other was doing at most times of the day whether they were with them or not. Okay, so maybe that was a little bit creepy, but it was pretty much the truth. They were usually talking or when they weren't they'd told the other where it was they planned on being and then they'd meet up later to talk about what it was they'd done apart. Emotion loved that he'd found somebody that he could be so close to, it really just made him want to dance on air, though if he tried that he'd probably fall and hurt himself, so he wasn't about to because nobody really enjoyed being in pain. Okay, so some people did, but they were just insane.
After getting himself dressed, Emotion had slipped out of his dorm and headed down to the creek. His gray converse padded lightly on the ground. If you looked close, you could see that there were some lines and words drawn with a fine tipped black sharpie. Jeans covered over the top of the shoes and dragged on the ground a little bit. A skinny torso was covered in a white muscle shirt that said I heart NY. It was probably one of Emotion's favorite shirts to wear when it was warm enough to wear sleeveless shirts. Once at the creek, he took a seat. His eyes moved around looking for his friend. It wasn't like he was going to get up and walk up and down the entire stream since they always met in the same general area. That was the good thing about having a best friend, you got to know each other so much that you could plan things without having to go into extreme detail because it all just seemed to be known already. It was like how most every time that they hung out and it was hot out or they went to the beach or pier or anywhere rather sunny, Emotion would make Mitchel get ice cream. It was also like whenever they were in Emotion's dorms, there would most likely be cupcakes because Emotion loved to bake them.

The weather was great and it looked like a perfect day to be outside. Actually, it didn't look like it. Well, it did. But, it didn't only look like it. It was a perfect day to be outside. It's better than being cooped up in a house like a chicken. That was for sure. The boy didn't exactly like spending his days at home anyways. Whenever he had the chance, he'd get out of the house. It was all in good fun, really. Okay, no, that was a lie. Suer, his family was great. He had two older brothers, a mum and a dad that cared for him. Sure, there was no blood relation, but it was alright. Just, he didn't know. Maybe that wasn't what he had wanted. But, it would really suck to have to go back to living in a trailer and travel with the circus. Clowns weren't that bad. In fact, when someone said they were afraid of clowns, he sort of just laughed. Because, clowns are just an illusion, really. People dressed up in costumes with wigs and make-up to make themselves look entirely different. It was easy to see that. Well, whatever. It was one of the perks to having biolgical parents that ran away to join the circus. Those are only things that you hear about in the movies. Well, it actually happened to him.
So, he'd pretty much had to drag himself out of bed to pick up a ringing phone. Both parents were working and the two older brothers were working as well. And that left Mitchel on his own. Of course, his mother always came back at lunch to check up on him and eat with him. Surely the person didn't know he was sleeping though. He grogily picked up the phone, letting out a small sigh. Obviously it would be Emotion. Of all the people in the world. Oh well, he'd just tell him off for waking him up when he saw him. Of course, it would be in a rather joking type of a manner, but still. The boy wasn't allowed to call him when he was asleep. And maybe that was just Mitchel's fault for sleeping in? Oh well. What could he do really? He would have to just forgive his friend. Actually, Mitchel was glad that after two years of living in Sunnyside Creek that he had actually made a friend. A lot of people still made fun of him. He hoped that would change. You know, it wasn't his fault he had a funny sounding voice! But, more about that later.
Slipping out of the room that he'd been in, he'd went back to his own bedroom and pulled open the closet. Mitchel let out a small sigh and he looked through it. What to wear, what to wear. It was hot outside and he didn't want to be boiling. Meaning black or any other dark coloured tee shirts were a no-no. Finally, he'd chosen a white tee shirt that said "Drop Dead" on it. It was one of his favorites. Because then whenever someone would laugh at him he'd glare at them and make himself look tougher than he was. In all honesty, Mitchel wouldn't really hurt a fly. He was far too nice for that. Then he'd pulled on a pair of black jeans. What could he do about the jeans, though? Most of his jeans just so happened to be black. He could deal with that though. It was better than having nothing. Or wearing a pair of shorts. Because, he only really had weird shorts. And well, yeah. He didn't normally wear them into public unless he was going swimming or something like that. And he didn't really plan on swimming in the creek. Anyways, moving on from that. Grabbing his keys, he'd locked the front door, after making sure that he'd left his mother a note, and left the house.
Mitchel walked to the creek, taking his time. The other boy could wait. Maybe that was just him being in a little bit of a mean mood because he'd been woken up when he didn't really want to be. Actually, he'd been having a very nice dream about running through fields on the backs of llamas. Yes, llamas. They were probably the coolest animal that ever existed. But, anyways. After the time that he'd taken walking had passed, he found himself at the creek. It was like there was a veil of trees around it. Which gave it a little bit of shade, even though past that thick forest, there was a wide open space. Seeing the other boy, the boy that was his best friend, Mitchel walked over to him. He sat himself down on the ground facing the boy. "Hey," Mitchel said, a squeaking sound coming from his mouth. Yes, that squeaking noise you heard just so happened to be his voice. It wasn't his fault he had under developped vocal chords! And yeah, if you hadn't guessed, that was why people made fun of him. Because his voice sounded like a dying chipmunk. It made him sort of sad, but anyways.

Emotion sat with his knees pulled up and his elbows rested on top of them. His back was hunched a little bit and he stared down at the water below him. there was a small smile on his face. For some reason or another he really just loved to watch as the water moved about. It was rather enticing on those hot days. If it was even hotter right now, Emotion would probably just jump on in in all that he was wearing now. Of course it would probably make his shoes and jeans rather uncomfortable and all, but whatever, he could deal with that it wasn't like he was never going to end up drying or anything like that. It wouldn't be all that long until it dried off at all and then he would be dry and have had the pleasure of getting himself cooled off in the water. Actually, there was nothing to lose.
A small sigh passed his lips as he pulled his cellphone out to see the time. It was while he was slipping the phone back in his pocket that he saw Mitchel appear in front of him. A small smile moved over his face at this. "Hey," he said grinning a little bit as he looked at his friend. "You seemed so sleepy on the phone this morning," he said as he leaned back a little bit and let his legs straighten out. Once his elbows had left his knees, he moved them behind him slightly and shifted his weight so that his arms were holding him up. "I hope that I didn't wake you up. But I waited until it was later on in the day," he explained as he looked at his friend. Emotion didn't want Mitchel upset with him. He was always so careful in all that he did so he didn't upset him or anybody else for that matter. Emotion was horrible when it came to confrontation or he'd always end up getting really upset if somebody that he knew was really mad with him.
A small smile moved over his face. He remembered that he had something in his pocket. With the smile still covering his features, he slipped a hand into the opposite pocket then the one that his phone was in and pulled out some chocolate. A small laugh moved from his mouth as he held a chocolate over to him. "Here you go, I love chocolate," he said grinning as he unwrapped his own chocolate and then popped the piece in his mouth lightly sucking on the piece of chocolate. "mmm," he said grinning a little bit as he looked at him.

Well, how was he possibly to call out his friend for waking him up when he had called later in the day? Haha. Well, that would just make Mitchel look like an asshole if he did that. So, he wouldn't. In fact, it probably wouldn't be all that good of an idea anyways. Mitchel let out a little bit of a laugh, which, much like hi s voice, was rather high. He was ready to just completely abandon his voice at this point in time. He didn't care if he had to learn sign language and if everyone thought he was deaf, he just hated his voice with a passion. Like, honestly! Who wants to sound like a dying chipmunk in everything they do? And it probably got annoying to hear after a while. Although, no one that actually talked to him ever said anythnig bad about his voice. At least, not around him. And they all seemed fine with it. Just as school, that was the problem. He had a high voice and no matter where he went the whole, "Oh look! Mitchel's going through puberty again!" jokes seemed to follow him. And after at least twelve years of this, he was pretty much fed up. Okay, well, not twelve years, but they used to laugh at him when he was little because even then his voice was high. Oh God, what had he done to deserve this?!
Finally, the boy spoke. He may as well get used to the oice he had. Because the chances of it changing were slim. And if it did eventually drop, it would maybe be one octave, leaving it still high. "Uhm, yeah, I was, actually," he said with a bit of a shrug. "I was sleeping, but like, I suppose that's my fault. I should probably go to sleep earlier." Well, that would always help. But, you know, he was one of those people that prefered to be up at night. He didn't exactly know why, but he just did. So, that was how things were most likely going to stay. But, then again, it all really just depended. Maybe it was just because it was hot outside in the summer. Well, not that hot. Because when you're living in Nova Scotia, it's usually got a nice breeze. So, it wasn't terribly hot. And the winters weren't terribly cold. Maybe it all just evened out? Who knew, really? Oh well, that much didn't really matter. Moving onwards, of course. Because, this is a little bit LAME. Fer sure.
Looking at the other boy, Mitchel noticed a small smile upon his face. "Why are you sm-Oooh," Mitchel said, looking down at the chocolate in the boy's hand. Yeah, chocolate was a boy's best friend. Well actually, no. That was a really big lie. Because, obviously boy was boy's best friend. Or was it dog? Oh well, it didn't really matter. In this case here, it just so happened to be boy. Because, after all, it was Emotion that was Mitchel's best friend, not the chocolate, or a dog. An imaginary dog that it would end up being. Hahaha. "Thank you very much, kind sir," Mitchel said, taking the chocolate from him. He'd used a silly little posh accent when he'd said that. Mitchel unwrapped the chocolate, shoving it into his mouth. He just let it sit there on his tongue. After all, you don't want to waste the chocolate right away. There's a thing about chocolate. You always want more if you can't have it and you finish it too fast. So, that's why you savor it. It's a very good strategy if you were to ask a pro chocolate eater. Wait, do those even exist? Hm... Not really sure, but that's alright. Everything will be just fine!
"Tith ith weally good chocolate," Mitchel said, keeping the chocolate on his tongue. It actually made him sound rather funny, talking with the chocolate in his mouth. But, that was alright. "So," Mitchel said when he had finished letting the chocolate dissolve in his mouth. "What time did you wake up anyways? Because, it must have been around eleven when you called." Yeah, eleven was still early for him. Shut up, alright? A man, erm, teenage boy, is allowed to sleep in. It's perfectly naturla. Okay, maybe not. But, he couldn't help it! Well, at least it got him out of the house. He didn't exactly feel like having his mother burst into his room to find him asleep and ask him why he was still sleeping. That had happened before and it hadn't exactly been the greatest experience. That much was for sure. He would have just laughed a little bit. Because, it was sort f funny, she didn't really trust him. I guess when word gets around about everything that's happened to you in the past, well, you get talked about a lot more than you might like to.

Emotion nodded a little bit at this. "I know," he said with a shrug. It really wasn't like it was all that hard to guess that Mitchel had been sleeping, he wasn't exactly the person that he found to be awake that early in the morning. Cocking his head to the side a little bit, Emotion thoughtfully sucked on his piece of chocolate. It was with a small sigh that he bit off a piece of the chocolate and held a small portion between his pale fingers. Emotion loved chocolate. there was just something amazing about how smooth it was once it melted. And the taste? What couldn't you love about the taste? Actually, he sort of wished that he'd taken more with him if only he'd thought of that before. Well, there was always stuff that he could end up getting later back at his room. He was sure that if Mitchel wanted more then he could come too.
His rolled at the other's excuse. Before he took another bite he decided he'd end up speaking. "Well," he said softly. "I stayed up rather late too. Then I ended up waking up around like nine thirty," he explained. I got up and dressed. After that I went and got some coffee and a muffin. I ate the muffin," he said grinning a little bit as he ate the chocolate smiling slightly as he looked at the other male grinning with the chocolate just between his teeth slightly. "Then I came home and called you," he said with a shrug. "See, you just need to have more energy like I do," he said nodding his head a little bit with a small smile moving over his face to show that he was just joking around with his friend. For some reason or another Emotion loved to joke around about random things like that. A small giggle left his throat as he hugged the male. "I sowwy I woke you up," he said kissing his cheek before laughing and sitting back again looking down at the water.
He pulled his knees up to his chest once more and rested his chin atop of them. "And of course it's really good chocolate. I picked it out myself," he said grinning proudly before turning his head to look at the other male. "So, if you were up so late last night," he said grinning widely. "What were you doing?" he asked raising an eyebrow and giggling slightly. No, he wasn't insinuating that the male was doing anything wrong, or was he? It wasn't like Emotion really knew about his friend's past, but he was sure that he wasn't completely innocent or anything like that. There was no way that he could be completely innocent because Emotion liked to think of himself as the pinicle of innocence for the age he was and well, he wasn't exactly an angel. Sure, Emotion didn't really do any drugs and only drank like once in a while, but there were a lot of times that he found himself shoplifting and if he wanted to he could be a complete bitch.

Mitchel laughed a little bit. "Well, that's the difference between you and I," he stated simply. "Besides, I don't wake up early either way." He gave the other boy a little shrug. Well, it was pretty funny. They weren't entirely alike, really. But, that was the thing. They were different. And different is better than being the same. After all, I know this is really lame, but if everyone was the same, the world just wouldn't be a fun place to live in. That was why it was good that there were so many different people in the world. People were fun, people were boring, young, old, thin, fat, etc, etc.. The world would just be entirely boring if there wasn't differences in the people. They liked different things, hated others, had similiarities and differences. That was the good thing. And as for their life stories, those were pretty different as well. And that was a good thing. If everyone's past was the same then their lives would probably all be the same. And the way people dealt with the complications that they came across in their life was different as well. Even the best of best friends in the history of the world was different. And that never stopped them from getting on in a good way.
"I'm sorry that I don't have energy like you," Mitchel said, shaking his head gently. He smiled at the boy, patting him on the head like a dog. "It's alright, you're forgiven." See, Mitchel could have a lot of energy. But, his ways of getting energized weren't the best ways there. Some people said if you ate a lot of sugar of fruits you would get a lot of energy. Actually, for Mitchel that was the entire opposite. He'd never really had all that much energy. Sure, he had enough to get him through the day and gym class, but, well, it wasn't exactly all that much. When he was thirteen, though, he'd found a wonderful way to get energy. And he's taken advantage of that as many times a day he could. But, it wasn't exactly the safest way. And since he'd been living with this family, he'd cut back, that was for sure. Living in a house, it's pretty hard to not get caught doing things like he'd done before. So, he'd just cut back. Sure, maybe once a month, once a week even, he'd go out and get high and go to the club, but other than that, it was clean as a whistle.
The truth in the matter was, Mitchel had actually snuck out the night previous to go drinking. Yeah, that seemed really lame, but he was allowed to have his fun. The thing was, to tell the other boy or not? See, they still didn't know everything about one another. In fact, Mitchel never really told him that his mother and father, let alone his brothers, weren't really related to him by blood. The only relationship they had was that Mitchel had been living with them for about two years now. But, right from the beginning they'd accepted him. But, anyways, he wasn't just going to up and tell the boy "Oh yeah, I used to be a druggie and an alcoholic and I got thrown in jail when I was thirteen." No, you just don't go right out and tell people that. Even if they are your best friend. And Mitchel wasn't ready to tell him all that stuff yet. There are certain things in life that just weren't meant to be let out into the open. So, yeah. Besides, maybe he didn't actually want to know about that shit. In fact, Mitchel didn't really speak about his past to anyone. And who wants to hang out with a kid who's parents left him to join the circus?!
Clearing his throat, Mitchel came up with a reply. "Well, you see, I was sitting there, right? In my bed, that is. And I wanted to watch a film. So, I went and got one and I ended up making myself extremely awake. Then I decided to go join my brothers in a nice game of strip poker and I had to run around the streets nude for about an hour. Then when I got home, I finally decided that I was going to go to bed. That was at about three in the morning. So, yeah," Mitchel said with a grin. Yeah, that was a load of bullshit. And it was easy to see. He didn't expect the other to believe him anyways. But, it was fun to say that, actually. He didn't know why, but it was. Of course, he'd said it in a joking tone so the other could obviously tell he was kidding. Unless he just blocked out the tone and listened to the words. Can you even do that? Hm... Must find out about that one day. I'm sure you could. But, it would have been much more interesting had he said it with absolutely no expression what-so-ever. Now that would take the cake.

Emotion smiled a little bit as he looked over at his friend. He really was an odd kid, but that's what Emotion loved about him. "Well, you're just a lazy ass," he said in a joking tone so that Mitch would know that he wasn't making fun of him. Emotion was always like that. He did think that Mitchel was just being lazy for the most part. If one person in the world could do that sort of a thing and wake up after only three or four hours of sleep then so could Mitchel. Of course Motion had gotten a little bit more then that last night, but there were a few nights here and there that he did end up not getting to sleep until like six or seven. Those were usually the days that he was online talking to friends or just off doing some sort of a randomness that he often found himself doing. For some reason or another he was always doing something or another that was strange. It wasn't like he planned it, it just seemed as though he kept getting pulled into that sort of a thing.
Emotion nodded a little bit as he looked around. He liked how the leaves were covering most of the sky above. There was something that he found he really did love about being in the forest. It always seemed as though there was some sort of shade around and it sort of made him want to dance slightly. Actually, he'd probably end up dancing in a little bit. There was something about Emotion that made him always want to be dancing. For some reason or another he really did love it. It was really sort of a freeing thing to do. When you danced it was like it didn't care what was going on. His eyes slowly drifted back to his friend. It seemed as though he was explaining something. Hmmm, perhaps he should pay attention to this. Actually, this type of thing happened to Emotion a lot. It wasn't like he meant to stop listening to Mitchel he just found himself completely engrossed by his thoughts at times that the other's words were completely drown out somewhere in the process of going from his ears to his brain.
Of course he ended up only missing the very beginning of whatever Mitch said before he'd tuned in. A small smile moved over his face at the other's explanation of what he'd been up doing last night. There was a small laugh joining it soon. "You were naked and you didn't bring me pictures?" he asked with a pout. "That wasn't very nice." Of course he said it in his fake disappointed tone so that Mitchel wouldn't think that he hadn't realized that the entire story was a joke. Of course that ended up making him wonder what he had been up to even more, but he wasn't about to push the issue since it could be something that he'd rather not tell anybody, ever. "Fine, dont' tell me," he said as he leaned back slightly and sighed softly. "I was just being odd. I baked a little bit too," he said nodding. "But I"m usually baking when I'm not doing anything else," he said with a laugh as he ran a hand through his hair slowly. "Blargh!" he said suddenly. "Want to play hide and seek?" he asked as he slowly stood up.

Mitchel stuck his tongue out at the other boy jokingly. Well, maybe he was lazy. But, he was allowed to be lazy. Because, he'd spent the first fourteen years of his life havnig to be extremely active. And he wasn't really allowed to be lazy back then. Because he would get kicked out of the trailer anyways. And then when he was with the circus, he was usually working or he was out walking around. Sometimes he'd get smoe time off and get to watch the shows and that was always fun. And he'd gotten to ride elephants, ride unicycles and try a bunch of cool things he never would have done before. But, alas, he was only there for a year. So, either way, relaxation was minimum. He didn't mind it though. He'd probably be better off being more active than he was at the moment. He laughed a little bit though. "Well, I may be lazy, but I still take the time to go running every day," Mitchel stated. He couldn't live not running. Besides, he didn't want to get fat. That wouldn't be good. He knew what it looked like to be fat, because he had lived in a trailer park. And it wasn't fancy.
Yeah, well, even if he had gotten nude, he probably wouldn't have taken pictures for his best friend. Let alone anybody. In fact, even Mitchel didn't even want to look at himself nude. You think he would do it though, but he didn't. It wasn't like he stood around in the bathroom for five minutes every day staring at himself after he'd showered. That would just be weird. Like, extremely weird. "Aw, I'm sorry," Mitchel said, grinning innocently at the boy. Well, this was a rather fun joke. And it's good that the other knew he was joking, because it would be sad if he didn't notice that. "I don't take my clothes off and take photos for just anybody, you know." Hehehe. Well, even the thought of that was pretty funny. No, he didn't really want anyone having pictures of him nude. Because then they could get passed about and a huge mess would come of it all. And that was never a good thing. And he really doubted that his parents would be proud of that. Because, even though he wasn't all that fond of them, he still wanted them to be proud of him. Because, they really did only want what was best for him.
Oh! Hide and seek! That was always a fun game! "Yes!" Mitchel cried, jumping up from the ground. "You count, I'll hide. Now, close your eyes and don't cheat or...well... I'll be sad." He gave him a wide grin. After the other boy had covered his eyes and Mitchel made sure he wasn't peeking, he ran off to hide. Now, where would be a good place to hide? Oh yes! Behind the water fall and behind one of the manylarge rocks scattered about. But, wouldn't that be the most obvious place to hide? Well, yeah. Haha. Well, he'd just have to find another place to hide, then. It didn't take him too long to figure out where he was going to hide. So, Mitchel quickly ran off to his hiding spot. This was actually really exciting. He'd never really gotten to play a proper game of hide and seek. So, yeah. There were a lot of things that little kids got to do that Mitchel hadn't gotten to experience because of where he'd lived. Sometimes it made him sad, but, well, that was what made him a little bit different than everyone else around him. And he didn't mind being different at all. Because, he wasn't that different. At least, not of what people knew.

Emotion pouted a little bit. "Are you saying that you wouldn't take nude pictures for me?" he asked in that same joking tone that he'd been using for most of the time that they'd hung out so far. "I'd take some for you!" he said pouting a little bit as he looked at him. "Though I don't know why in the world you'd want to see me naked," he said with a little bit of a shrug as he looked at him laughing slightly. Even if he had been joking, part of that was true. Emotion wasn't exactly thrilled with his body and wasn't going to take any nude pictures and wasn't about to let anybody else for that matter. "Yes, I know you're sad to hear that," he said putting a hand on his friend's shoulder. "But I know that together we can get through this," he added with a small nod a large grin moving over his face before he withdrew his hand and started to laugh softly to himself. "God, I crack myself up sometimes," he said shaking his head.
"Wait!" he said ceasing his laughter. "Why do I have to be the seeker?" he asked with a small pout as he looked at the other male. "Fine," he said softly as he ran a hand through his hair slowly. Slowly he turned around a little bit and then laid down resting his head on his folded up hands. "One...two," he started not really sure what he was going to have to count to. Out of slight laziness as well as him just not wanting to end up going for too little of a time and having Mitchel not end up being ready, he decided on fifty. Fifty was a good number it would probably be more then enough time for Mitchel to find a hiding place and it was a nice round number. Rounds numbers were easier to work with in general, though when it came to counting that probably didn't really even matter all that much.
"Ready or not, here I come!" he called out as he rose from the ground. A small pout moved from his lips as he brushed off his shirt and pants before he looked around to try and figure out just where he should look first. Well, there was always the waterfalls, that would be pretty cool actually. Smiling a little bit he made his way over there. Actually, he was pretty sure Mitchel wasn't going to be there, but he'd always wanted to walk under a waterfall so he decided that now was going to be a good time. It wasn't that long until he was there behind it. He smiled taking a step through the falls before running back out and around to actually begin his search. His head and shoulders were drenched at this point, but he kind of shrugged it off, it didn't really feel all that bad and well, he was going to end up drying anyways.
He pouted a tad bit as he started to try and figure out just where Mitchel was going to end up hiding. There were a few good places so he made his way over towards some bushes and started to look for them. As he looked around he hummed some random tune that had randomly ended up popping into his mind out of almost nowhere. Not seeing the male there he turned and went off into the other direction to find his best friend. "You're a good hider," he said looking around for where his friend was at.

"No, that's not at all what I'm saying," Mitchel said. Then he paused. Actually, that was what he was saying. "No, that's whay I'm saying. But, I wouldn't want to see you naked, so you're right about that." Well, even if they did want to see one another naked, that would be pretty odd. They were best friends, but they didn't have to go and explore one another's anatomy through pictures. Oh well. He stuck his tongue out at the other boy again and looked around a little bit. It was really nice there in the forest. In fact, it wasn't as hot as it would have been had there not been all those trees. But, anyways, moving on. He looked back at Emotion and laughed. "You only crack yourself up because you're a crack pot," Mitchel laughed. He was kidding around with him. "Or! Or! OR! Maybe you're an egg?" Okay, that was really, really cheesy. But, you couldn't exactly blame him for having one cheesy joke. Everyone was entitled to theres, so he was taking up one of them for this moment here.
When the other boy was looking for him, Mitchel was sitting in his hiding spot, leaning against it, more so, and trying not to fall out. Yes, he'd climbed a tree and hid in it. It was a good idea if you thought about it. Because, how often do you imagine someone climbing a tree to hide in hide and seek? It's more of a cops and robbers type thing to do. But, well, it was the best he could think of. After all, there weren't too many places to hide. And Emotion would probably come up with all the good ones. But, he wouldn't let on that he was in the tree. No, course not. Because the point was to have them find you. Although, he wasn't really sure if you were supposed to play the game with two people. It was usually meant to be with more. But, anyways, he wasn't exactly complaining so it would all be cool as a kitten in a basket floating down the river.
Mitchel had to stop himself from saying "I know, eh?!" when the other boy said that he was a good hider. No, he didn't exactly want to do that. Because, that wouldn't be all that smart. He didn't want the boy to find him, because that was the point of the game. To hide and have the other find you. Well, you'd hope they didn't find you and they'd just give up. It didn't really matter to Mitchel if the other found him. He just didn't want to be found because he'd made a noise or something that would give him away. And he was almost dim enough to fall for it. Well, he hadn't. So, hopefully everything would be alright. And hopefully he wouldn't fall out of the tree from losing balance. Of course, he could always just grab onto anoth branch. As he was already sitting on one of them. But, no, that would be much too complicated.

Emotion pouted a little bit as he looked around. Mitchel really had found a pretty amazing hiding place. Emotion wasn't all that good when it came to hiding in the wilderness. He liked hide and go seek better in a house because there were more places to hide and it was also a lot less dirty too. Well, whatever, this was fun to. While he was searching he made a few mental notes of just where he could hide when it was his turn. Of course there was always the whole logic that if the other saw him searching certain places that he'd look there later on. Well, whatever, that was just a small though and Emotion didn't mind it when his hiding places were discovered, it wasn't like he was going to die because he was found in a game. If that was going to be the case, he probably wouldn't even hide and he'd just run away from whomever it was that was going to kill him, that would be the smart thing to do and though Emotion wasn't exactly super smart, but he wasn't completely stupid or anything like that.
Shaking his head a little bit, he looked around for more places. Well, he'd taken care of most of the area that was around. He didn't really think that Mitch would go too far from this area, but then again that was just an assumption. "Damn you Mitch and you..." he started before pausing. As he had started to yell, he'd looked up and put his arms out. That was when he saw that Mitch was sitting in the tree just a little bit to his right. "Oh, hello," he said grinning a little bit and laughing as he looked at the other male. "Wow, that was amazing," he said grinning a little bit as he got towards the tree and pulled himself up.
"God, how'd you think of this?" he asked cocking his head to the side a little bit and smiling once he sat down on the branch. Man, he really seemed to be saying a lot of random curse words lately, like god and damn pretty much, but it still wasn't exactly very good etiquette if you thought about it. Oh well, Emotion didn't find there to be a real need to have manners at his age, eventually he'd end up getting some and then, bam! The world would be a better place. Okay, maybe it wouldn't be that big of a difference or anything like that, but it would make it better for possibly one other person.

Well, the hiding place had been a good idea. If the other boy wasn't going to look up like he had. But, well, it was quite fun while it lasted. Besides, he thought that he'd sat in tree sap. Which you couldn't exactly call a good thing. Because it really wasn't all that much of a good thing. Not that he really cared. They were just pants which could be changed and washed, etc... But, still! That would really suck. Because well, there would be sap on his pants! He doubted that he had sat in it though. But, it really would suck. If you thought about it, you'd be able to see that. Maybe he was just going to go over board with thinking that it was a huge disaster that he'd ended up getting sap, of all things, on his pants. Erm, well. It wasn't as bad as sitting in bird shit, that was for sure. But, that would be completely hilarious. Or not. If it happened to someone else, then yeah, of course he would find it funny. But, then agian, anyone would. Anyone with a snese of humor, that is.
"Hi," Mitchel said with a slight grin as he looked down at the other male. Trees were fun. Yes they were. Except if you sit in sap! But, anyways, not thinknig abuot that anymore now are we? Because that might end up being a hassle as we're just sort of, well, I don't know the word right now, but you probably know what I'm trying to say. Or do you? Because, even I just confused myself with that last sentence! So, ignore the second last sentence that I put and we'll move on! How had he thought about getting into a tree as a hiding place anyways? Well, who really knew. Because, Mitchel wasn't exactly certain himself, to be completely honest with you. But, that was alright. It wasn't going to end up being a really big tragedy or anything just because he didn't know why he'd decided to climb a tree. It would come to him, though.
He shrugged a little bit. "I guess I just sort of thought about where you'd look first," he laughed. "And I was thinking of hiding where you looked first. But, that was an easy give away. So, yeah. I mean, when we used to play cops and robbers in the..." He cut off short. He'd never told Emotion that he'd lived in a trailer park when he was younger. Actually, he'd never really told the boy anything about where he'd lived before. He didn't even think he told him the the woman that he'd met at his mother wasn't actually his mother, but anyways. "Well, anyways, in the woods, I think, yeah... There were woods around where I used to live, and we used to play cops and robbers there and if you didn't want to get caught, you'd climb a tree," Mitchel stated, nodding his head a little bit.

Emotion smiled as he leaned against the tree that he'd found Mitch in. He nodded as the other began explaining just why he'd decided to go up there. Actually, it had been a good choice considering where Emotion had first looked. Of course as he thought about that he looked down at his still went clothes and smiled looking back up at the other male. "Well, it was a good idea," he said nodding a little bit as he stretched his arms above his head.
Of course he was rather confused why Mitchel seemed to get a little bit flustered as he talked about cops and robbers. He raised an eyebrow slightly as he watched him try to find the right words to use. It was just kind of interesting to watch actually. "Oh, that's cool," he said with a small nod. Of course he thought that Mitch probably changed what he was going to say after thinking, but he wasn't going to force anything. They were close, but it wasn't like they had to know everything about each other. Emotion hadn't ever told Mitch about his family at all or even mention that he'd had a brother or that he was adopted. It was all just better that it was just not said between them, it avoided that awkward moment that happened when you let out one of your secrets to anybody else.

Mitchel nodded his head a little bit. Well, this was sort of interesting. "Well, anyways," he said. It was alomst random, really. Because, it just sort of came out. It was almost awkward sounding, to be honest. But, things tended to sound awkward when you've just said something kind of weird and well, yeah. You get where this is going, I hope. "I guess it's your turn to hide now." He nodded his head a little bit. Hide and seek was fun. Sort of. It depended really. The game got old kind of fast. And well, who knows, really? It must depend. Hm... Had he eaten breakfast? No, he hadn't. Well, eating lunch with his mother had sounded quite appealing to him, that was for sure. But, well, no. He could live without having breakfast. But, he was rather hungry.
He looked over at the other male. "Hey, actually, do you maybe want to go and get food?" Mitchel asked as his stomach growled. "I haven't eaten today." Not to blame the other male or anything. Cough cough. Well, really, he could have eaten before he left, but he hadn't exactly thought about it. So, it was probably his fault, really. Because, it was his decision. But, still. He was hungry. And that was the only thing that really mattered at this point in time, now was it? Yes, that's right. So, yeah. Mitchel shifted in the tree a little bit, waiting for the boy to reply.

Emotion looked up at Mitchel kind of wondering if he ever planned on coming down from there or not, it was sort of odd to have to look up into a tree just to talk to his best friend. "Yes, it is in fact my turn to hide," he said with a small nod as he leaned against the tree. "But you have to come down from there first, you could probably just count there and then open your eyes and see me because you're up there," he said nodding a little bit. Damn, why hadn't he thought of something like that. It was perfectly simple, he could have climbed p onto a tree and looked around, though considering where Mitch had been there was no telling if he ever would have found him. Actually if he hadn't started to look up he never would have been able to find him so it was all just a rather confusing issue at this very point.
Of course at the first mention of food his ears perked up. Grinning he turned his head up to look at his friend once again. 'I like food," he said grinning widely. "So yes, lets go and get something to eat," he said running a hand through his hair for a moment. "What do you want to eat?" he asked kicked at the ground a little bit. Now that he was thinking about eating something he was beginning to realize just how hungry he really was at this point. Sure, he'd eaten, but he'd been up for a while before he called Mitch so it had been a few hours now, probably like two two in a halfish. Man, it was things like that that sort of made him feel as though he was some sort of odd teenager who never slept in all that late. Maybe he'd have to try that one day, but it would probably involve sleeping pills and him staying up until about three in the morning or so.
