"Sorry," she started.
"I mean it when I say it fucks you up though. Get addicted to the stuff and you're finished," she said. She looked up at the boy again.
"So, you still in high school or have you moved on from all that shit?" she asked him.

"Yeah, when your heroes are people like Johnny Thunders and Dee Dee Ramone the effects of being a junkie are kinda plain." He said, laughing slightly himself. It was true, Sid did have quite a few idols who were junkies, and he knew what it had done to them. It had killed them, just like it had killed mmost of the punk rock junkies of the seventies. "I'd still be interested though." He shrugged slightly, taking another drag, and replied to her question after he exhaled. "Yeah, I'm still in high school."

"Love Johnny Thunders!" she called out, giving him a highfive.
"Yeah, I still am too... But my last year, so thats a good thing," she said with a tiny sigh.

A huge grin crossed Sid's face at her mention of loving Johnny Thunders. "Oh yay you have good taste!" He cheered with a slight laugh, and returned the high five. "He really fucking rocked didn't he? Solo and with the Dolls." Hearing that she was going into senior year, he let out a small sigh of his own. "Lucky. I've still got a few years left. Kinda sucks ass. No, not kinda, really sucks ass. And I have to go to a new school this year and shit."

Peyton laughed slightly, lifting her shirt up to show him her red New York Dolls belt buckle.
"Hah, your taste is fairly good aswell." she said. She leaned back again, feeling rather good now.
"Geeze, what grade are you in?" she asked him, he made it seem like he was only a freshman. She sort of wished she could go back to her days as a frosh, everything was so simple back then, her life was still normal and clean.

"Well thanks glad I meet your approval." He said with another slight laugh. "And I have to say, I'm jealous of that belt buckle. My shirt isn't nearly as cool." Sid unzipped the old leather jacket he wore to reveal that he was, in fact, wearing a New York Dolls shirt. "I'm a sophomore." He replied, making a slight face. "I started school late, so I'm kinda old for my grade. Just makes it suck more. I'm gonna turn twenty my freshman year of college." He gave another sigh. "But I guess I just have to deal."

"I'm loving the shirt though," she said, "and you should be happy, very happy, I mean I don't just approve of everyone, you know" she joked.
"Ah, that sucks... Well, atleast you can do things kids in your grade cant to and like show off. I mean I know I would say something about driving and smoking and drinking every five minutes."

"Yeah I love my shirt too. I got it at their reunion tour. I just wish I could have seen them back when half of them weren't dead. I mean David Jo and Sylvain both still rock but I dunno how I feel about the replacements they got for the others." Sid replied. He knew once he got started talking about music he was likely to not stop for hours, but that was okay. "And yeah, I guess your right. I mean I can already go to sixteen and up shows by myself, and I already have my drivers license."

"Yea, I wanted to see them at CBGB before they closed but I couldn't get the airline ticket." she said reluctantly. She could talk about music for hours, depending on her mood.
"See? That's the spirit, just rub it into their little noses," she said, "I don't really like some of the underclassmen... I mean some of them are cool but the others are just lame."

"I never did get to CBGB's." Sid said, shaking his head slightly. "Kinda disappointing. And it was just a waste of a great piece of history, closing it down." He yawned and ran a hand through his dark, blue tinted hair, messing it slightly. "What school are you at?" He questioned curiously. If she went to Shallow High, the school he was being forced into this year, maybe things wouldn't be so bad. At least he would start out knowing someone.

Peyton brushed her bangs out of her eyes,
"That sucks... I kinda stole a few stickers signed by people and some parts of the wall. Stop by some time I'll give you a piece of the place." she said casually, leaning back again.
"It really was amazing there, I'll never forget it. I really want to go to the new one when it opens." she sighed, a dazed sigh as she thought about standing on the stage while it was empty.
"Oh, I go to Shallow High," she said "how about you?"

"That'd be pretty sweet." Sid agreed, taking another drag from his joint. He stayed quiet for a time as he held the smoke in his lungs, then eventually exhaled. "I dunno how I'd feel about the new ones. Wouldn't really be the same. I mean, I once went to the rebuilt Cavern Club in Liverpool. You know, where the Beatles used to play? They knocked it down then regretted it and rebuilt it. It was cool and all but it really wasn't the same." He shrugged slightly. "You go to Shallow High? That's where I'm transfering to this year."

She took a short drag on the cigarette, her eyes winced as she felt a bump from the heroine.
"This'll be my first year too, it's kinda stupid to change my senior year but... Whatever"

He grinned slightly, then took another drag, before putting out the tiny bit of the joint that was left. "I don't even wanna change schools. Apparently I'm anti social or some shit like that. My mom thinks making me board at a new school will fix that. I dunno what gave her that idea but it wont."

"I wouldn't rest unil the mirrors in the bathrooms weren't completely covered with grafitti, stickers and posters again," she said honestly. No one would, except for the stupid celebrities who would go the first night and pretend to know whats going on but just end up looking stupid. She could just picture Paris Hilton there in some leather jacket with that stupid chiuaua in a matching outfit. It made her laugh slightly.
"Eh, judging from the people I've met they're pretty sweet, you should get socialized."
